Reading week of 4/9

We will be working on the text structure of  chronological order in the genre of Biographies.
We will be doing a biography board project in class in which students will research a famous Kentuckian and create a timeline of their life.

Homework: Reading Logs due May 14th
                    Students will need to have a white
                    poster board by Friday(been in  
                    agenda since Monday)

Vocabulary study guides will go home Friday.  Test will be on May 3rd

Week of March 19 - 23

We are working on basic measurement and measurement conversions (feet to yards, minutes to hours, inches to feet, etc.).  Students have a study guide and there is a measurement quiz on Monday, March 26.

This performance is a great opportunity for students to see all the fine-art opportunities such as dance, chorus, drama, band, orchestra, etc., that is provided through Owensboro Public Schools.

Where:   Riverpark Center
When:    March 29th
Time:     Bus leaves Sutton at 8:00 a.m.

We should return to school by 10:15 a.m.

The grading period ends on March 14th, and reports cards will go home on March 23rd.
